Shankar Chandran
Principal
Mr. Chandran is a principal in the firm and focuses on technology investments. He joined JPMorgan Partners in 2002. He currently serves on the board of directors of Neoconix, LV Sensors, and CHiL Semiconductor and as a board observer at Tagsys RFID and Valere Power. From 1995 to 2000, Mr. Chandran held various engineering, business development, and management roles at Applied Materials, Inc., and has been granted six patents in semiconductor technology. Mr. Chandran holds a B.Tech in Metallurgical Engineering from the Institute of Technology, BHU (India), an M.S. in Materials Science from Arizona State University, and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
